Nami Island or Namiseom is perhaps one of the most popular tourist attractions outside Seoul. It is located in Chuncheon in Gangwon province, 63 kilometres away from Seoul. This man-made island is known to foreign tourists as the filming location of the 2002 drama Winter Sonata especially the popular Metasequoia footpath.
How to get to Nami Island?
There are several options to reach Nami Island and other tourist attractions including Petite France and The Garden of Morning Calm. If you are planning to visit these tourist spots in one day, I recommend taking the subway to Gapyeong station from Seoul, then the Gapyeong City Bus tour.
Nami Island Entrance Fee: 8,000 won for foreigners
